We (virtually) sat down with Chris J. Evans , and here’s what went down.

Q: During this time, what are different ways you have been showing support for your current and potential clients?

CJE: My job has always been to create an environment where my clients can forget all the stresses in the world and be truly present in love and with each other. So right now I’ve been focused on just that, reassuring them that no matter what if we postpone the date or have to do a smaller scale event, they will still be celebrating each other in the most amazing way!

Q: How have you been actively creating a community for brides and maintaining connections while everyone is in self-quarantine at home?

CJE: Staying connected through social media has always been important for me. It’s a great place to check-in, offer support and promote any updates on our current situation. I’ve become so much closer to my couples during this time than ever before.

Q: Any. self care tips?

CJE: I’m all about healthy eating, vigorous exercise and surfing as much as I can.

Q: How have you had to pivot your brand during this time?

CJE: The first big pivot was an immediate investment into a web streaming HD camera system to live stream the wedding day to my couples friends and families who may not be able to attend. The second was mainly just promoting the beauty of what tiny. weddings look and feel like. Being based on Maui the last 10 years the vast majority of my events have been 30 guests, so I already have a robust catalog of incredible events to draw experience and promotional material from. What I like most about tiny. weddings is the couple gets to truly connect with their guests and share in an incredible gathering.

Q: You’ve just relocated recently to Southern California from Maui, Hawaii has the move helped or hindered your brand in any way?

CJE: I feel the move will 100% help my brand. If travel isn’t able to open up in a comfortable manner many of my clients may choose to keep their weddings on the mainland and I’m able to hop in my car and get anywhere. Also being in SoCal I have access to millions of potential clients, venues, planners and industry pros. I also can pursue many other sides of my photography from fashion to product to movie industry- there is just so much opportunity here.
